About Us

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.    (1 Peter 4:10–11)

The Turtle River Parish is a Shared Ministry under the auspices of the Anglican Church of Canada, Diocese of Saskatchewan, and the United Church of Canada, Prairie Pine Presbytery.  Our congregations are unified in administration and worship and include the communities of Glaslyn, Livelong, Turtleford, Mervin, Edam and Meota, all of which are located in north-west central Saskatchewan.  Our Parish in its shared form was begun in 1970, making us 44 years old in 2014!
